How often do I need a DOT Physical?

Typically every 24 months, though some medical conditions may require more frequent exams.

What will my DOT physical include?

Medical history review, vision and hearing testing, vital signs, full physical exam, and urinalysis.

What are the requirements?

– 20/40 vision (corrected allowed)
– Color recognition for traffic signals
– Hearing test
– Blood pressure under 160/100
– Blood sugar under 200 if diabetic

What should I bring?

Medication list, glasses/contacts if needed, and previous medical cards if applicable.
